Gordon Trail: After 28 years of service in the Regular Army, including operational experience in Iraq, Gordon Trail became a veterans' advocate and an art mentor for the Australian National Veterans Arts Museum. He later pursued a career in professional photography, with his first major publication being "The Victoria Cross: Australia Remembers" by Michael Madden.
Catherine McCullagh: With 20 years of service in the Regular Army and an additional 15 years in the Army Reserve, Catherine McCullagh is a highly respected military history editor. She has worked on numerous titles over the past two decades and has authored three published works, including "Willingly into the Fray," "War Child," and "Dancing with Deception."
