The Postage Stamp PBY-5A Catalina RAAF A24-13 "M for Mother" is a stunning replica of the iconic flying boat from the 1930s and 40s. Originally designed as a long-range patrol bomber, this amphibious aircraft played a crucial role in World War II, performing reconnaissance, anti-submarine warfare, convoy escort, and air-sea rescue missions. The A24-13, assigned to RAAF No.11 Squadron, flew missions in Port Moresby, New Guinea, before disappearing during a mission near Rabaul. This die-cast metal model comes in a 1/150 scale and features a plastic stand. With a length of approximately 5 1/8 inches (13cm) and a wingspan of 8 1/4 inches (21cm), it is a must-have for aviation enthusiasts.
